A Good Week

This actually starts last Saturday, but still it helped me have a good week. It has been the week before finals, and the faces of the students here show it. I refuse to let myself get all worked up over tests, I don't do any better if I study my life away. Saturday I finally got my letter from Bryce!!! It was just what I needed, and the sense of humor that I miss and get was written so well in it. I also longboarded for a good two hours, something else I have been missing dearly for six months.

After Saturday I had a good day at church, and then my week really started. Monday I pretty much just chilled in my room and planned how I was going to get ready for finals, and moving out...it was alright. Tuesday I actually started packing, and then hung out with friends...my week was pretty much the same the rest of the week. It flew by but I loved it. Friday I spent most of my day helping Elayna pack her stuff  because she had to ship it all back home. We eventually went to dinner at Noodles and Company..and later I went over and drummed with Trevor. We ended up playing Settlers of Catan which is an interesting game, I really enjoyed it.

     

Today I had Day of Percussion which was long. There was four clinics each an hour long, having to show up an hour early to set up, lunch, and then cleaning up. I was there forever but it was still a lot of fun. I got to hear some African music that I never imagined I would hear, and learn a bunch of new techniques.

   All in all it was a good fast week, now I must go and study.
