Another Week Gone By

I am trying to think about what I have done since the last time I wrote, in all honesty I can barely keep the days straight. I do know that yesterday was the last football game I will play at this season, and I am just a little excited about that to say the least. We have one all of our home games, which is always exciting and the fact that I got to basically march in all of them this year taught me a lot about why I drum. I drum because I love it, plain and simple. It isn't because I want to major in music, or that I think it is cool..well I do but I love it just because it has become a part of me I can't live without.
Friday I went to the Band Pageant with one of my friends I have made this year...it was great fun. The band pageant is basically a pageant to mock real pageants, and a chance to let band kids be weird without being judged for it. I got plenty of laughs from it, a little disturbed at times but I definitely had a blast. Wednesday was Halloween...my least favorite holiday but it was eventful. I hung out with yet another one of my friends and this time until one in the morning...good thing I didn't have early class. We went over to someones house and made caramel apples...actually they made them and I sat and was free entertainment. After that we went and played a game name Slamwich, then to end the night we watched Ghost Protocol. That movie was so AWESOME!! I was surprised that I hadn't ever seen it let alone heard of it, I definitely don't regret staying up late to watch it.
The rest of the week just consisted of school, and hanging out around my apartment. Definitely not the most fun week I have ever experienced, but it definitely could have been a million times worse.

  1. Aw...Juleea...thanks for blogging again. I do love to read your posts. I do miss seeing you all of the time. I miss your sarcastic personality. I wished I would have had a chance to see you march at a football game...maybe next year.
